Welcome back to my blog my Beautiful Sis in Christ and fellow Daughter of The Most High God of Israel. I will always greet you and remind you that you are beautiful. Often times in life we are made to feel "less than". We believe the lies that we are not good enough, not pretty enough, not intelligent enough, but let me tell you something Sis.. YOU my dear Beloved Sis.. were fearfully and wonderfully made! (Psalms 139:14) Every single freckle, curve, gray hair, dimple, wrinkle etc. was created by a PERFECT God. You are timeless Sis. When tasked with doing something completely out of the norm , it will feel.. well.. silly. However, change will never take effect if we don't begin to in fact.. make changes. Today I want you to find the time to be alone in your bathroom. You can light a aroma therapy candle and just be at ease for the moment. I want you to look in the mirror and repeat the following:
I am beautiful. I am worthy of being treated as if I matter. I am deserving of true love. I am not my past. I am not what happened to me in my childhood. I do not have to receive the horrible things that were either said or done to me in my childhood. I am worth more than rubies.
You can create your own list of personalized affirmations Sis. I just want to share with you that it is important that you speak into your spirit. The best thing to place in your spirit is the Word of God! It also helps to adjust your subconscious perceptions of yourself by speaking positively to yourself. It may seem silly, but I promise you that anything you do repetitively will resonate within your soul. Why do you think the Narcissist repeatedly abuses you infused with bouts of love and emotional sentiments? This is so that the abuse and love will become intertwined within your body, mind, spirit, and soul and you subconsciously believe the two are a pair and you accept it. Speak life into your spirit Sis.
I actually DIDN'T INTEND on such a lengthy intro, but the Holy Spirit took over this keyboard and I guess he wanted His Daughters to know that. So here is the beginning of the blog !
One of the main things that I begin to learn as I continue in my journey of developing a close and intimate relationship with my Heavenly Father is that I am in fact a child. I am not fit tp make decisions in this life without consulting Him. As I take a look at my life before giving my life to Christ sometimes I have to ask myself.. "Why didn't I do this SOONER?!" I am almost certain that we all may have asked ourselves the same question. I have come to be a very self reflective person due to Gods grace and this in and of itself has been so very soothing to my spirit. Every sermon that I listen to ,I actually apply to my life ( Please understand that you must apply what the Man or Woman of God is preaching to your life because you have to actually place the Word of God in action in order for this spiritual activation to work Sis). We often make so many plans for our lives and " To-Do lists" and we do this without a single thought of asking our Heavenly Father for His advice regarding all of these decisions. We are taught in this world to create a plan, stick to your plan, and execute it. While spending time in the word the Lord revealed to me over and over that I am a CHILD of God and I am in need of my Fathers guidance in all aspects of my life. I needed to throw my "To-Do list" away and begin to ask God to instead "ORDER MY STEPS IN YOUR WORD". ( Please listen to "Order My Steps" by GMWA Women of Worship, it will bless you and bring this point home!)
The Bible tells us in Psalms 119:133-135 "Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts. Make your face shine on your servant and teach me your decrees." This scripture really touched my heart because I understood that I need not bother trying to plan out my life without including the Creator of my life. He has already predestined my entire life in this realm and he has plans to prosper me. Why would I not consult him, when he has already finished my entire life and he has made it beautiful? When I begin to release "my will" and desire "His will" for my life then things begin to shift. The bible verse "Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will not enter it" (Mark 10:15) really begin to speak to my spirit. I needed to fully depend on my Heavenly Father like the child that I am and understand that I need his assistance in EVERYTHING that I do. He knows all things. The word of God says " I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, " My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please" so this confirmed to me that it only makes sense to trust completely in my Abba leading me as he already knows the end at the beginning.
I encourage you Sis to include your Heavenly Father in the plans of your life. Invite Him to look over and adjust your "To-Do list". He knows the right routes to take to lead you to your GOD GIVEN PURPOSE AND DESTINY! He is the author and finisher of your faith Sis. He knows how the story ends... He wrote it!
